“Student Testimony’s”
Jeremy D. – Hey Everyone, so this blog helps A LOT. I started 2 months ago, and between this blog and some awesome instructors, I was able to stay on track and focused, and it only took 2 months to get my GED passed with a 545 total on all tests. Follow the guides and tips and listen to your instructors, and you will get yours too. 2 MONTHS YA’LL!! Thank you, Willie!!
Betsaida Justin– Three weeks ago, I was stressed. I lost my high school diploma from Haiti, and the company that was supposed to complete my foreign evaluation couldn’t trace it online. It felt like my future was on pause. My advisor introduced me to the GED. Before that moment, I didn’t even know what the GED was. I came to this country pregnant at 25 years old, just trying to survive and build a better life. So I created a simple plan. Every day I asked ChatGPT and Gemini to give me 20 questions, and I made sure I mastered those 20. Social Studies became reading comprehension. Science became analyzing graphs and experiments. RLA became understanding arguments and evidence. Math felt like the final boss but strategy and practice made it possible. Little by little, question by question, things started to make sense. If I can do this while starting over, pregnant, stressed, and unsure about my future, then anyone can. One day at a time. Twenty questions at a time. One step closer to the life you deserve.
Kat Parker– Here I am at 31 years old getting my GED. Silly and small as it seems, it’s mind blowing to me. I’ve worked at the same grocery store since I was 18 with no career in mind. I have an 11 year little boy and I’ve recently found God. Something changed inside me and all these doors seem to be opening. I’m halfway through my GED tests and am overcome with emotions. You can do it. Whoever is reading this, please believe in yourself. You are important. You matter. You deserve an education.
Willie Parker– March 19, 2026 Today is March 19th, 2026 — a day I will never forget. I graduated. After everything, I can finally say I’m done. I went from being in special education classes to, 18 years later, becoming a high school graduate. That alone means everything to me. This journey wasn’t easy. It took me roughly 4 months of real focus, effort, and commitment. There were moments of frustration, moments where I didn’t understand the material, and moments where quitting felt like the easier option. But I kept going. And today, I’m proud to say I am now an Arkansas high school graduate. I’m proud of myself not just for passing the tests, but for proving to myself that I could finish something I once thought was out of reach. This is bigger than a diploma — this is growth, discipline, and faith. For anyone out there thinking about starting or finishing their GED journey, I want you to know this: It’s possible. No matter how long you’ve been out of school. No matter where you started. No matter how hard it feels. The key is simple: Work hard. Don’t give up. Believe to receive. If I can do it, you can too. This is your sign to keep going.
